4th Grade Recorder

Study of the recorder in the 4th grade includes review of the fingering of the notes g, a, and b. The fourth grade students also learn some new notes including d and e above middle c. Recorders are then used throughout the rest of the year as an additional instrument and timbre when learning and performing music.

Throughout the rest of the year, students will learn additional notes such as f, f#, and c and d on the staff.
