| Study of
the recorder in the 4th grade includes review of the fingering
of the notes g, a, and b. The fourth grade students also learn
some new notes including d and e above middle c. Recorders are
then used throughout the rest of the year as an additional instrument
and timbre when learning and performing music.
Throughout the rest of the year, students will learn additional
notes such as f, f#, and c and d on the staff.
