Many web sites below include video and music. To view video and listen to music you need high speed internet. If you connect to the internet with a phone cable, it will take forever to view video and listen to the music, so you probably shouldn't try it.

Trinidad & Tobago and the Steel Drums (K-6)

        http://www.mannettesteeldrums.com: Ellie Mannette (as you have learned) is one of the inventors of the steel pan. He is known for his many innovations and changes in the development and tuning of the steel pan throught the history of the pan. View what is pans look like, and you can also buy cds. Also contains a history of the pan.

       › http://www.coyledrums.com: Alan Coyle learned how to make steel drums from Ellie Mannette. You will notice, that his pans look very similar to Ellie Mannette's. Coyle makes excellent steel drums for a most excellent price! Also contains music and cds.
