Patrick Anderson teaches percussion, music theory, and a Latin jazz combo at Los Fresnos High School in Los Fresnos, Texas. Mr. Anderson currently performs professionally with the Bongodogs and SPI Pan.
Before accepting a position at Los Fresnos High School in July 2008, Mr. Anderson taught K-6 general music in his home town of Iowa City, Iowa from 2005-2008. Patrick Anderson received a Masters Degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2005 as a student of Dr. John Wooton. In 2003, Patrick Anderson received a Bachelors Degree in Music Performance and a Licensure Certification for K-12 Music Education from the University of Iowa. During his time at the University of Iowa, Mr. Anderson studied the percussive arts under the direction of Dr. Daniel Moore.
